While at Lion Interactive I had the opportunity to work on the flagship website for Academy of Art University. My role in the project was to carry out the direction of our lead developer and develop the bulk of front-end components as well as WordPress CMS settings, while managing and unifying components created by other developers on our team. I also lead the effort to synchronize their academic calendar information with their internal systems to simplify the process of displaying this information. Since the launch of the website, their internal team has taken over development responsibilities for maintaining and further working on it, but I am happy to see that the structure of the website is largely the same and the majority of components being used are the ones we developed for them.

While at Lion Interactive, I had the opportunity to work on the WordPress site for Flipoard&#8217;s marketing site About Flipboard. Under the direction of my lead developer, I helped to create most of the components as well as manage a team of developers in creating a module based theme that allowed Flipboard to customize each page to their preferences. A large part of the job that I was responsible for was importing over thousands of posts from their old blog which required a custom import process including the transfer of images and sanitization of content. I also used AfterEffects to create a Lottie based animation for their homepage.

While at Lion Interactive, I had the opportunity to work on the WordPress multisite for Asian Art Museum. Under the direction of my lead developer, I built every component on every sub-site and created all of the CMS settings across the multisite. I also built a custom event system with WordPress CMS controls, based on the RRULE system, that interfaced with custom MySQL tables so that they can set up recurring events. All of the content on the site was searchable through my custom implementation of Algolia. After leading the launch of the website for them, I performed maintenance and updates on the site for several years.
